Ashland Winter Shelter to Open December 5th, 2025

ASHLAND, OR – The Ashland Winter Shelter will open its doors on Friday, December 5th at 5:00 p.m. and will operate through April 1,, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. The shelter opening has been rescheduled from the originally anticipated December 1st date to allow for final clean-up and walk-throughs to be completed by the City of Ashland.

OHRA staff and volunteers have been actively engaging with individuals currently experiencing homelessness in Ashland to assess their needs and secure spaces in the shelter. OHRA is currently coordinating with community organizations and recruiting volunteers to assist with meal preparation for shelter guests, as well as volunteers to support staff in daily shelter operations.
